Refund requests

Not every experience unfolds the way we expect—and that's okay.

Boardroom subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Their policies guide most transactions, including when refunds may (or may not) be granted. In certain limited circumstances, we may review exceptions—outlined below.

When we may step in

Beyond Apple and Google's standard policies, Boardroom may consider a refund request if you've paid for the experience and haven't received any matches in the duration of the purchase.

This is a rare exception. It doesn't replace or override how Apple or Google assess and approve refunds on their platforms.

Requesting a refund through Apple or Google

If your purchase was made via Apple or Google, you'll need to contact them directly. Each platform manages its own billing, cancellations, and refund decisions—independent of Boardroom.

Here's how to get started:

Apple App Store

All purchases made with your Apple ID are handled by Apple.

To request a refund, follow their process:

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple

Google Play Store

Google manages all purchases made through Google Play.

To request a refund, follow the steps for your region:

Request a refund on Google Play

Cancelling subscriptions

If you want to stop a renewing Boardroom subscription, you must cancel it where you subscribed—through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Boardroom cannot cancel or change billing on your behalf for purchases processed by Apple or Google.

Deleting the Boardroom app from your device does not cancel an active subscription. Auto-renewing plans continue until you turn off renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, following that platform's steps.
